Im Rahmen des Projekts „Deine Kiezbäume“ der Schutzgemeinschaft Deutscher Wald LV Berlin e.V. in Kooperation mit der VHS City West und der Dorfwerkstadt e.V.) laden wir euch zu spannenden Baumspaziergängen ein – für Erwachsene und Familien.
Erfahrt, wer eure grünen Nachbarn sind, wie es ihnen geht und was ihr selbst für sie tun könnt! Auf einem Spaziergang durch den Kiez lernt ihr, Baumarten zu erkennen, ihre Vitalität einzuschätzen und den Einfluss von Stadtleben und Klimawandel besser zu verstehen. Außerdem gibt es praktische Tipps zum Gießen und zur Begrünung von Baumscheiben, damit ihr selbst aktiv zum Erhalt eures grünen Umfelds beitragen könnt. Der Spaziergang beginnt und endet in der Ausstellung „Deine Kiezbäume“ und führt durch die benachbarten Straßen. Bitte an wettergerechte Kleidung denken.
Treff- und Endpunkt: Goethestraße 29 (Altbau AKD) am Karl-August-Platz, 10625 Berlin

As part of the project “Your Neighbourhood Trees”, organized by the German Forest Protection Association Berlin e.V. in cooperation with the Adult Education Center (VHS) City West and the Neighbourhood Coordination Office Karl-August-Kiez (Dorfwerkstadt e.V.), we invite you to join our inspiring Tree Walks – for adults and families.
Discover who your green neighbours are, how they are doing, and what you can do to support them! During a walk through the neighborhood, you’ll learn to identify tree species, assess their vitality, and understand how urban life and climate change affect them. You’ll also receive practical tips on watering and greening tree pits to help you take an active role in caring for your local environment.The walk starts and ends at the exhibition “Your Neighbourhood Trees” and leads through the surrounding streets.
Please dress appropriately for the weather.
